The presentation included an overview of how she came to write and investigate the slaying of famed artist Leno Lazzari and his wife found in their Boca Raton studio on Nov 14, 1948. The incident garnered world attention. The Italian sculptor, with a studio on Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue, did work for the rich and famous, including the Duke of Windsor.
Also included was a mini- documentary that was produced by WLRN TV- photos of the Italian Sculptor, his art work, women in his life and dubious suspects.
Sally welcomed questions from the audience giving insight into her ability to develop this historical fiction page-turner into a fascinating read.
